CAREYS Picture Framing offers a large range of framing ideas for you to customise your artwork to suit your decor.
The customised framing styles start from acid-free products up to the museum quality and also offer the option of UV glass. The store has a large range of timber frames to choose from, and where possible can match an existing framing.
Customers choose from a vast array of colours when choosing the mount/mat colour for their image. The acid-free mount card provides a good protection for the image by keeping it away from the glass, thus providing an air gap between the glass and image. An archival tape is used to hinge original art into the mount card. This is reversible if the art needs to be taken out at a later stage.
The business enjoys helping clients customise their framing, so don’t hesitate to come in and talk to about any framing needs. They can give a number of ideas to choose from.
The shop is tucked away at the top of Pakington Arcade, at 129 Pakington Street, Geelong West. They are through the arcade, up the back from Panini Cafe and Robyn Boyd Fashions, which are on the street front. There is also parking off Clarence Street, at the rear of the arcade.
They can frame anything, from full size Indian head dresses to delicate tissue paper cut-art from Japan.
